 Mission Statement

Hosanna Christian School, rooted in biblical foundation and academic excellence, nurtures each student spiritually, intellectually, creatively and physically, in a loving Christian environment, so they will live to glorify God.

See what our parents are saying about us!

“Our family has been part of Hosanna Christian School for 8 years now.  Not only have both of my girls received an exceptional education, but they have felt unconditionally loved by their teachers and peers every single day.  By feeling secure socially, they have been able to thrive academically.  From the small class sizes, to the warmth and joy present in the building, this school has helped shape our girls more into the people God designed them to be.  I am forever grateful to this sweet little gem in Gig Harbor.”  Stacie Anderson

“I started looking into Hosanna, talking to the parents, talking to the teachers and meeting with the head pastor of Peninsula Christian Fellowship who is also a board member for Hosanna.  I decided that my two young daughters would enroll at Hosanna and not the other schools I looked into.  I could not be happier with my decision. My daughters are absolutely THRIVING. They wake up excited to go to school each and every day and are somewhat disappointed when they don’t get to go on the weekends.  Hosanna really has the vibe of a ‘big family.’ The teachers and administrators are DEVOTED to the students, and the students to one another.  I am fortunate enough to have time to volunteer for recess duty twice a week. I have never in my life seen children of various ages playing together so harmoniously. The impact that Hosanna has had on the older students is obvious. The kids in the higher grades, to a one, ALL watch out for the younger kids (like my daughters). Watching this play out at recess time is one of the highlights of my week.
Further, in terms of academics, Hosanna is second to none. I am fully confident that my daughters will graduate 8th grade and hit the ground running in high school.
As a final note, I have never been one to enjoy participating in the Gig Harbor ‘clique’ scene.  This can be a problem at some of the private schools in town. For anyone reading this that knows what I mean, and doesn’t really relish this aspect of our little town, Hosanna is the place. Hosanna has none of it.
In summary, I cannot recommend Hosanna enough. My daughters will be there through 8th grade, unless Hosanna opens a high school, in which case they will be there through the 12th.”
At Hosanna, my children are not only getting an education that is putting them ahead of the curve, they are getting Jesus Christ in a real and tangible way. He is alive and active in the school – from the textbooks to the playground.
