Does Hosanna have a dress code?
Yes. We ask that children come to school in plain color polo shirts and khaki or navy pants or skirts (no jeans). We do have free dress Fridays!
What grades are offered?
Hosanna classes include Pre-K through 8th grade.
What are the school hours?
School hours are 8:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
How much does tuition cost?
Costs vary according to grade level. Please visit our Enrollment page for a link to all of our tuition rates. We intentionally set fees that are competitive with other area schools.
Is financial aid available?
Yes, please see our Enrollment page for additional information and how to apply.
Are there requirements for Hosanna families?
Yes, a pastoral reference is required for incoming Hosanna families.
Parent volunteer hours are also required. This helps keep costs down and gives everyone an incentive to engage with school activities. Volunteer opportunities include recess duty, special events, annual auction preparation, and attending PTSH meetings.
What is PTSH?
PTSH stands for Parents and Teachers Supporting Hosanna. It is our parent and teacher group that meets monthly to organize school events, including our annual fundraising auction. We discuss school needs and coordinate volunteer efforts as needed.
Are there any regular student trips?
Yes, each class has it’s own individual field trips that they take on a yearly basis.
Is Hosanna affiliated with a particular denomination or church?
No, while we are housed within a church, Hosanna Christian School is not affiliated with any church or denomination.
Hosanna Christian School is an independent Christian school founded in 1982. The school exists as a non-profit educational corporation, incorporated in the State of Washington. It is controlled by the Hosanna Christian School Board of Directors.
The school has been a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) since 1987. The school is also a member of the Puget Sound-based Principals’ Association of Christian Schools (PACS).
How can I support Hosanna?
We have an annual fundraising auction in the spring. The families and friends of Hosanna come together for an evening to support our school and to have some fun!
